Myriam taught her family Jewish values, ensured that her daughters married Jewish American men and kept being Jewish alive in the remote mountains of Colombia. The dream of making aliyah is alive. Myriam, we all love you and miss you and happy will be the day when we will see you again when G-d calls us home. The memory of Myriam Escobar Saavedra will live on as an example of charity, goodness and kindness.
