1. Islam is a religion of peace, and is NOT ANTI-JEWISH ---- FALSE!!!! Islam has ALWAYS been a violent and military movement..Mohammed conducted 74 military campaigns, unifying Arab tribes with war and assasination or exile of Jews..2. Islam is just a religion ---- FALSE!!!! It has NEVER been JUST a religion, it has always been a political organization...with the goal of unifying all the Arab tribes, with their ultimate international expansion to world domination..
3. Mosques are only a sacred place of worship ---- FALSE!!!! (again) Mosques have always been political and social centers, as well. They have been used historically (as well as today) for military plotting and radical political organization..

4. Jihad is not a practice of Islam, but only of a few radicals -- WRONG!!!! Jihad is a TENET of Islam, practice by Mohammed himself--MILITARY Jihad, violent conquest of infidel nations... not some ethereal, spiritual conceptual Jihad...death and military victory!!! This is the exemplar of behavior for every believing Moslem..
5. Islam and Democracy are compatible -- With all due respect to George W....ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Democracy and Islam are contradictory terms. Sharia, or Islamic religious Law, is the goal of Islam. Just see the "Ideal" in practice, whether in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Afghanistan.
